Great performance!

I listened to this and to Lang Lang. I much prefer Lang Lang playing of the music. The conductor and orchestra are also different. I believe this is because Lang Lang being Chinese, understands the depth of emotion behind this music by a Chinese composer during WW2 in 1939. And he knows what this music is about (life and death struggle of China versus extremely cruel invading Japanese). In 1931 Japanese troops attacked Shenyang on a pretext. Lang Lang was born in Shenyang in 1982. This is his home town.

Sad to say this, orchestra has intonation issues, and does not compensate with any passion either. Semi zombies playing...

better than most of the Chinese pianists performances, maybe the shadow of cultural revolution deep down those Chinese heart...

Love her playing, with a lot of full emotions in the music. Some of parts have her own explanation which is also beautiful. This concerto is quite hard, not only technics but also need more power and emotion involved. Good job!
